Becoming a Member

 

This is our history. There is something remarkable about being a custodian of the rich East Petersburg story. Our society is centered on Lancastrian pride and determined to make certain that no one forgets the past, as we forge ahead. Help us to keep the story alive. Become a member.

We invite you to the East Petersburg Historical Society Programs for 2025 and thank you for attending our 2025 speaker events—located at the East Petersburg Community Building at the East Petersburg Community Park, 6051 Pine Street—East Petersburg, Pa. at 7:00 p.m.

Since the 1990s, the Patriot Daughters of Lancaster have honored their 1861 founding through re-enactment. The Patriot Daughters of Lancaster presented an historical account of their society.

Corey Aspril related haunting stories of East Petersburg and Lancaster County

The Peter Gottschall family, the name-sake of East Petersburg – presented by Robert Alley who explained the family origin and history.
