The following Speaker Programs will meet at the Community Center, 6051 Pine Street, East Petersburg.
All Speaker programs start at 7:00pm:
- March 2, 2026 – Working Gardens in the 19th Century Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Mike & Jeanne Casidy, Penn State Extension
- April 6, 2026 – Show and Tell – Bring your favorite antique or any item of East Petersburg history you would like to share. If you have a photograph, article, story, heirloom, keepsake, or item of historical significance, bring it along.
- May 4, 2026* – Historic German Houses of Southeast Pennsylvania presentation by Greg Huber
*Annual EPHS member meeting - June 1, 2026 – 50 Years of the East Petersburg Historical Society: How It Began
- October 5, 2026 – Hauntings of East Petersburg and Lancaster County, continued from last year, presentation by Corey Aspril.
The following Events will meet at the Wolf House Museum, 1905 State St:
- September 7, 2026 – Walking tour of East Petersburg, 6:00pm. Register via email at info@eastpetehistory.org. $5.00 suggested donation (donate at the event).
- September 26, 2026 – Civil War Encampment, 10:00am to 4:00pm, with musket firing demonstrations. Members of the 71st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment re-enactors will be dressed in full period attire, including uniforms, showcasing a traditional Civil War camp layout.
- December 5, 2026 – Annual Christmas Open House, 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with refreshments, Christmas music, fellowship, and decorations including a model train display of historic original East Petersburg.
